While working in the private school system the opportunity to join a studio and community arts collective came to me from a friend and colleague, Naz Rahbar. She invited me to join Art Cave as a co-owner and director. Together with Nilou Ashfar, we began to develop new ways in which we could offer programming to the diverse populations of Toronto.
We offered a variety of courses to adults, youth and children. Our mission was to generate arts and cultural opportunities for the community. We worked in the public school system, created community initiatives, partnered with local oragnizations and developed original art programming.
