About Kasia Kord

Like so many of you out there, I was born a seeker and always had an innate curiosity for life and experiences. This take on life has led me down all the roads I have travelled.

I am wife to a marvelous gentle partner, over 25 years and counting, a mother to three children who are my greatest teachers and inspiration. I am the daughter of a loving and resilient lineage of mothers and fathers who immigrated to Canada from Poland in the 1960s, and friend to a beautiful community of people who I have had the privilege of finding locally in Waterloo and around the world. I’m a musician inspired by mantra, devotional music and singing with all of you.  Professionally, I am a Registered Massage Therapist with 20 years of experience in the field of body work. My area of expertise is Religious Studies with a specialty in Eastern Spirituality and the Roman Catholic female mystical tradition. This academic wisdom has played an integral role in my therapeutic practice.

Studying, teaching yoga, and spirituality have been a passion for me for the past 25 years. When I turned 30, I discovered Kundalini Yoga and it changed my life. Struggling with the birth of my first child, who was born with multiple special needs, I was lost, angry, and devastated. “Why me” was my main mantra. Kundalini Yoga showed up for me at the worst moment of my life and through the teachings of Yogi Bhajan and Gurumukh Kaur Khalsa, it has been the most important method of personal growth and transformation in my life.

I am a testament to the fact that the practice of Kundalini Yoga works and assists with personal transformation. Since this discovery, I have been teaching at festivals, retreats, various yoga studios, and host events throughout Ontario and internationally.  I lead weekly Kundalini Yoga and meditation classes here in Waterloo Region for the past 16 years and it is my honor to share it with all of you.

If you feel inspired, please ask me any questions and come and join me in class.

This is the Yoga you have been waiting for! I invite you to come and optimize your daily life, connect more deeply to your radiance and resilience and discover what you have been searching for to amplify your journey of self-discovery.

As the words of Yogi Bhajan says, “Don’t find the master, be the master.”

All the love,
Kasia (Seva Akal Kaur)
